no, seen as i was into them since i was 16, well before the ska revival.
hearing Ghost Town takes me right back to the early eighties.....and youth club discos... I love the song, but it is a sod to dance to..

im in to most types of music and have to say i have a few S.K.A cds lol
And im still non the wiser, who or what are ska?
Look for Reel Big Fish on youtube, they are a ska band, but they also skar my ear drums.

ska is mainly a mixed colour band movement the 60's onward doing there own thing instead of punk etc - toots and the maytals - pressure drop excellent bassline!! youve probably heard a lot of ska but never realised for 80's ska think skinheads doc martins etc was even a song called skinhead moonstomp!!:thumb:

Seen Madness at Sonar festival in Barcelona last year- were awesome and I'm not even into Ska!! Can't help but dance about!

I didnt think it had ever been away? Its always been part of the Mod scene.
A bloke i used to work with was into scooters (lambrettas) and he was into ska.I went to a couple of their club do's and it always got played.I like some of it.

there has been a revival but yeah youre right there are certain scenes which play it all the time - just like those blokes who drive big yank cars always think theyre still in 50's doo wop america!!!!
