Been driving the Nova 3 days a week for the past 3/4 weeks to the college which is 30 miles a day and it's been taking it's toll on how much I've been cleaning it
Since I was off the day I got all the inside hoovered and the mats washed, the outside all washed then Carnuba waxed then polished all the windows also dressed my tyres...Can't beat shiney tyres lol
Been having so much fun driving the old Nova, they really are great!
Here's some pics of her looking good for a change:

Not much point in that IMO but each to their own
I'd like another boot to put a GSi spoiler onto to see how it looks then...

Yeah there is a point, if its a clean SR, it will end up rotten driving around through snow, id do the same if i had a mint original nova.
anyway car looks good mate, not keen on the spoiler or the red boot handle still looks clean though.

Get it caked in Waxoyl etc and just keep the salt out of the bits that rot and it'll be fine
Pointless hiding it away...
Joe Richardson

It will be stored away for the winter, that way it keeps it mint, and clean :thumb:
it wont see the roads at winterlol
I always took my Nova's off the road for winter, i dont like cleaning in the freezing cold and the heaters are terrible lol
vaughanmc
20-09-09, 01:44 PM
Fair play lol
Mine's will be out unless I don't need to use it :thumb:
Don't have anywhere to keep it inside anyway
The orange Nova is in my garage and my space at the lock-up is being taken up by the Sport lol
My cav is my winter bus and i still keep her nice and clean and polished even through the depths of winter lol
Nova has been away for two months not so i can make an early start on her for next year, cant wait to bring her back out though as i miss the old girl, all my novas heaters have been pretty good anyways tbh, although the best car ive ever had for heaters in winter was my 1.1 mk3 fiesta, ive had three of them and never found heaters like them, you can have your car like a tropical heatwave inside even when its snowing lol
Joe Richardson

mine is kept outside but has a cover over it,but it will go in the garage through the winter:thumb:
My L reg 106 had the best heaters, was like sitting in front of a fire only downside was the fact it was a 106.

I'll be keeping the Nova clean and tidy during the winter - I don't see the point in putting it away if it's your only car as well...
Well, the Nova's my only road car atm so it'll need to be out :)

Just make sure you clean out your arches regularly then and a jolly down to a jetwash and a rinse underneath regulary wouldnt go amiss either bud:thumb:
vaughanmc

Aye she'll be kept tidy - I always rinse the arches out when I give it a wee jetwash anyway :thumb:
Good lad, i get called wierd at work cos i use the wash bay at work to clean the cav twice a week even in winter, its easy to clean in winter though cos she wears that much polish and road muck tends to stay wet in winter cos its wet most of the time, so i just rinse her off ever other day:thumb:
My winter cars never get washed, they are disposable lol
vaughanmc

Mine's has loads of Wax etc etc on it so hopefully it rinses off just the same lol
