has it got the lamda sensor port I ask because i have been reading the article section on how to tune a 1.2i nova and it said you can use a gsi manifold but it has to be the later type so i assume 1992 and after because cars had to have cat's and lamda sensors

the gsi manifold wont have a lambda sensor iirc.

it must do because the gsi came with and without a cat so before 92 when they didnt need them it wouldnt of had the lamda sensor correct me if im wrong on this. But after 92 when they were required to have cats they would of had lamda sensors.
jut get a 4 branch manifold, much better!!

Later GSi's came with lambda and CAT. Engine code is C16SE (1990-1992/3)
Up to 1990 they were GTE/GSi engine with a code of E16SE and didnt run a lambda probe or CAT.
All exhaust ports on Nova petrol engines are the same so any 4 branch will fit, but you will need the remainder of the system for it to mate up, otherwise it wont line up.
A 1.2i will have a lambda probe so you will be needing an exhaust system from another Nova which has one. SRi and GSi had them.
use a sri/gsi 4 branch manifold and system then it will have a lamdba port, or try a corsa sri one and make an exhaust to suit
