Does anybody know if the speedos on novas are really dodgy, as im sure that mine is about 5mph out at about 30 mph, and about 6-7mph out at about 60mph.

all other cars arent that bad.

is it mine, or are all novas like this?

if youve changed the wheels from standard factory fitted ones then you will see a change in the speedo (bigger wheels = faster so when u think your going 50 your doing 55 etc).

Mainly at higher speeds though not lower ones. U changed yer clocks/put white dials in?

YEP it is!

Just MORE at higher speeds! Like a percentage! So say 10%! if you were doing 30, you would be doin 27! But at 100 it would be 90!

If you have bigger wheels then it will most likely cancel it out, therefore no nead to worry!

8)

so ste - your the man for the conversions, to go from a 1.4 sr nova, into a 2ltr 16v - how much time and money involved if someone like yourself was to do it?

im very tired of the modified/tuned 8v small block route now, unless i start to see some light at the end of the tunnel
