Pretty sure this is what i got just after combe/trax but I couldn't get diagnosed with it as you can't get within 3 miles of a doctor surgery if you say "flu" and the national scare mongering hotline (manned by crack addicts) ask who you're phoning on behalf of, to which you say myself. They then ask if you're unconscious or unresponsive, having trouble breathing and speaking etc etc... then get to end and they basically say you're not dying so we can't help you lol Whole thing is a joke!

Bah, The majority of people being Diagnosed with "swine flu" is a joke ... One mention of cold/flu like symptoms and you're instantly diagnosed. Bollocks. I've had a cold for 5 days, but it's not stopped me from doing anything, just a regular cold. However, if i rang the GP they'd probably diagnose it as swine flu.

My Mums a Nurse and has been for the past 50 years... From what she's saying, the very few people she's seen who've actually had it are completely bed bound by it.

The WHO reports global medically-confirmed cases of Swine Flue are no greater (in fact i think its less) than that of "regular" influenza. And its no more dangerous.

But the Sun and Daily Mail say we're all going to die so AAAHHHH PANIC

I wasn't moaning at him in perticular.... More at lame people in general. My Flatmate has the unfortunate profession of working in a call centre; people are off everyday because of "swine flu" - No, that's just a runny nose.

no its not fun at all.Its not as bad as they make out,i mean im still breathing for one,its only dangerous for those with other problems.Its just harsher in terms of symptoms.Im currently laid up,but can still work a laptop lol

I just felt massively rough, scored about 39.5 i think it was on the thermometer one day (this was my best enterainment for the week lol) ached like an old ******* etc, did have a bit of a dodgy stomach too but wasn't camping out in the bathroom, thing is I didn't have the usual sore throat runny nose etc that you get with flu, so i still dunno what it was, i tried working when i felt a bit better after about the 6th day from having it though and after 2 hours I could barely lift my feet with steel toed boots on etc.

Apparently the main symptoms of actual swine flu are the huge temperature and the aches/random shooting pains.

I didn't struggle breathing much just had the odd shooting pain in my lungs one day out of the 9 or so i was stuck with it lol I've still no idea if it was actually the dreaded MEGA-KILLER-DEATH-MASSACRE-FLU-OF-DOOM (better Jack? lol) though as no fcuker will let you near them to diagnose it!

I has a cold, probably got it from the derty bastids at centre parcs at the weekend. Vodka and orange fixed me :d
