I am starting my 1st year doing motorsport technology and was just wondering if anyone else studys there?

I was on that course about 8/9yrs ago when they first started offering it. By about 3-4mths in most people had left as it was sh1te! Uni just weren't putting any money into the motorsport element so it was just basically an engineering course.

Yer I have been told this by a few people , and when I went up there to one of the open days I asked the head of the motorsport section, and they told me "they have made significant changes to the course in recent years to focus the course in more motorsport, blady bla" lets just hope they were telling me the truth, anyone done this course recently on here? Would you recommend it etc etc?

tbh I'd rather be doing a more engieeringy course than a poncey mechanicas one...
I did do automotive electronics at uni which was a merge of electronics and the motorsport course.
Basically learn what you want to learn and make them aware of that. Even on a course with hundereds of people on it you can still shape your own education! I was lucky and was the only one doing my particular mix so got to chose what I learnt :)

i got told that it was a poo corse i was going to go and have a look round but after the review i got from my college tutor i didnt bother, so now im doing the same corse at college instead.
