Im looking through that thread in dribs and drabs, ive gotten to about page #40 where the doubt has been raised about the enginless yellow renault 5 'godini' someone said its a normal five with a kit on, was this resolved as ive checked it at work via the doovla, and it is indeed a Gordini:eek:

Page 19 you can see the reg on the rear shot of it, DVLA says Model, 'Gordini'
There's a few in that thread that I think why?! as is life though.
yes spud but a gordini doesnt have the wide arches. the 5 turbo 2 has them. all a gordini is is a 1400cc turbo in the front, sort of a pre gt turbo gt turbo...
Aye she's right. R5 Turbo 2's are the daddy. Still a muppet to let that Gordini return to earth though IMO!
Renault are said to be reviving the name, but using it on some gheyhat elec cars. :/

Just makes me wonder how many nova sports there is out there abandoned, anyone got any good nova pictures to start an abandoned nova thread off ? would be a hell of a read.
Out of the 500 or so made, id say none.

i found a sport in a barn once. my mate said that there was an old nova in his dads old work shop which used to belong to his cusin or somthing. he said it was pretty tidy so we went up for a look. went up an old farm track with an abandoned farm at the end of it. opened the unlocked shed to find a nova under a sheet. i pulled it back and saw the red grey yellow and explained that it was a sport. whats that he said. the car was siting unlocked. i opened the bonnet and had the irmisher air box. it was really good nick and had 15" revo's in white with a polished lip. looked well smart probably the nicest wheel colour ive seen on one. ive got pics of it somewhere

I love these abandoned car threads they have links to other abondoned car threads, keeps me busy all day at work. It makes me want to look after my car soo much more. (therealnovaboy) get some pics up im sure we all want to see.
