I've finally got the nova to handle the way I want, started to worry when I heard folk say they just don't handle with an xe upfront but it's now amazing especially with the dry weather these bends are top fun lol
novas got the reputation of not handling from idiots fitting the c20xe's and not fitting suspension and brakes upto the job.
^^Agreed
I've never found that any of my 2.0 16v Nova's handled badly, i could happily throw them through corners but that was with decent suspension and not some cheap ****

I had bilstein before but went for gaz coilovers but the big difference as stupid as it might sound is the 300mm new steering wheel I put on- it now makes it. It's just like a kart now, transformed the whole feel of it now my legs don't hit the old bus wheel
i find with a smaller steering wheel i feel more through the steering

*Note to self; Get a smaller steering wheel*
I've only ever driven one bad handling XE'd nova, and it was the funniest time of my life..
srs1's old red one with gash suspension. parp parp :d
it was ace that suspension.
handled soooo bad it was funny as f@@k
I think willF was scared for his life lol
so was i. dan didn't care!
gmax std suspension with std springs is not the best set up for a xe.
plus 4 pot brakes dont help under heavy braking with poor set up.
i loved that car. lol

likewise with that one, the bus wheel is a major fail
