Is it a nova thing for the breaks to seize after heavy rain. It seems that when its absolutely pissing it down and im driving then park up, next day its all seized up. Ive never had a car do this so much! getting a little worried its doing something to the car :wtf:

i mean the hand break is amazingly good, and the breaks are pretty hot too! but wont this cause extra wear and tear on the break pads them selves if it keeps doing it.
Also worried im going to be in a rush for college or something and snap something

Is it the fronts or backs that are sticking?

So long as they free up when you drive off, meh. Dragging the rear end up the road isn't good lol

yep im sure...they are better than my 07 plate fiesta i had (they were terrible breaks)

spelling is not my strong point and neither is maths...:wtf:

i have dragged the back end down the road (found it a tad amusing i must admit) but as soon as i put it in reverse it lets loose again)

the rear drums always lock up in the rain.

so nothing to worry about then? not to sure with the whole "common problems" with novas. Only scrotums (aka escorts)

you must either drive like an ass or been very unlucky with the 07 fiesta as they have epic brakes!!! (trust me, we tested the life out of them lol)

no nothing to worry about, a quick rock back and forward to free them off with a clunk and away you go. If you are really worried simply leave the handbrake off and put it in gear when you park

give the drums a tap with a hammer if the rocking doesn't free them

just wip the rear drums off and give them a clean and then re grease all the springs.
This usually happends on my astra after it has rained or i havnt used it for a wile.
