Yeah - sad for both of them but I'd much rather go like Floyd not knowing it was going to happen...

Apparently Floyd had cancer too, so in a way he did know. Rip to them both, loved swayze's song. she's like the wind. Hopefully the radio stations wont kill it. Magic play it daily tho which i like.

Was sorry to hear about these guys this morning. :(

Never knew Keith Floyd was affected, but had seen some awful pics of Swayze looking withered and gaunt over the last few months.

Just read about Keith Floyd, although im in no ways into cooking i really enjoyed his programme, he didnt hide the fact he liked a good drink either.

i agree with stu, (theres a newsflash...) you never ever beat it. my dads been given the all clear 4 years ago, and had a scare last month. my cousins wife got it at 11, lost a lung, then got it again at 14 lost her left chesticle (i hate the b word) and at 16 fought it again. she died last month after it returned and moved into her remaining lung and brain. she was 21. i feel for all the families involved.

I was never a great Swayze fan, but he was a good actor.

As for Floyd though, damn. I grew up with him. Surprised the drink didn't kill him first though.

The jokes have already started (thanks dad!)

I loved Swayze, cant believe he's dead. There must be a million destroyed 40 year old women around the world. Who will save baby from the corner now :(

Always watched the reruns of Keith Flloyd on Saturday Mornings Cooks. Brilliant chef!
