Bit of an impulse buy realy but what the heck. Dan16v gave me a ring asking if i knew any one that wanted his engine, a few hours later i had put a deposit down! Checked out the insurance today and got a quote for 800 fully comp, which aint bad considering im guna be 18 with one year no claims.

liverpool victoria are pretty good!

they quoted me ?1400 FULLY COMP on a 1.4sr pushing out 120BHP!
that was when i first passed me test in aug last year!

im paying ?570 tpft On A 1.2 i K Reg,

i might get a quote on the 2.0 16v conversion!

i with them now, was paying ?1200 for 1.2i im 18, 0 NCB, third party fire and theft.

Now ive 1.6 engine change, lowered, alloys, body kit(not got one yet but i can put one on if i want) ?750 fully comp, with ?450 excess, i knwo its alot but if i have no accidents ive saved myself ?450 aint i!
Thats with me being 19, 0 NCB and 1 acciednt that wasn't my fault.

yea im paying round about 800 a yr third party fire and theft on my SRI and im 19 with no no claims bonus yet with LV...

by the way how realistic is the pricing on liverpool victorias website, they quoted 1200-1400 tpft on a 1.4 nova sri, im 17! i here its a totally different story wen u phone them up 4 a quote

twag go carefull with the engine m8! going from a 1.2i to a valver will be a big shock! and id buy a radar scanner to as i lost my licence 2months after i got my valver!, ill build the engine back up asap ill get the gaskets etc nxt week, liverpool vic want and extra ?34 from me with the let! bargain! :P

Yeah i know wot you mean, to be honest im a bit worried myself about having all that power under my right foot! I was looking at the radar scanners in halfords yesterday, you can get them for ?99 now, maybe a worth a while investment! can you spray the engine cover in normal spray paint or do you have to have a heat profe paint? i m guna spray it the same colour as the car.

Alrite cheers, is that the gut DT is working for? Might take it over there during the week then. I need to get the ball rolling on this conversion and have it in by july, no point hanging around! Has the engine had a cambelt change?
