I know sooooo many people must hav asked this but i cant find anythin on the forum.
Basically, windows stick so ive gota help them down with my hand but they work ok when its pissing with rain, which isnt much good. Ive tryed a bit of KY on the seals which works fine for a while but then (as with shagging) the KY dries up and everythin gets tight again
Any ideas??

This happens loads.
I sorted mine the other day.
Step 1
Take off your door trim
Step 2
On the bottom of the window there is a runner where the arm from the motor runs up and down. Clean it out with WD40 or similar. The apply fresh grease, work it up and down a few times.
Step 3
Spray silicone into the window channels
Step 4
Refit ur door trims
Step 5
Enjoy your marvelous electric windows

as ste says.
wd40 will eventually dry up and evaporate
and DONT do the windows up and down to many times without the engine on a few revs as you will SOON deaden your battery
I only said to use the WD40 to clean the old grease off. The use a more stable grease to lubricate the runner itself.
But yes the lube ste mentioned is great on the rubber window guides, lasts longer than silicone, but back to black or whatever you have around will do in the short term until you get down to Halfords.
Good point about the battery though
