got my car painted at the weekend, been done outside by my dad and it has came up ok. just a few runs to sort anyway here are some pics.

will be shiney after next weekend needs flattening then polish then wax. still to fit gsi skirts and astra mk4 mudflaps and a proper exhaust and headlight protectors then finished

aye we will flatten it down and buff it up with cutting compond and super resin then wax. it will be shiney. going be doing this all next weekend

Looks no bad to be fair chief, a good flatten and polish should bring her up better :thumb:

came out better than i expected tbh am over the moon with it. just need to get through my test lol

but please move the 8v badge to the side of the grill rather than middle :) and the exhaust on it looks good :)

IMO I don't think that'll flat and polish as well as you think.

not sure it's going to flatten and polish either..

what was it paited with and how many coats?

it looks very dry and you can actually see the gun strokes in some pics..

i aint complaining, as my paint job is not the best by far..

id go down the laquering path to shine that finish up but fook me it looks 100% better

Fair play for doin it outside :wtf: is that a big run on the passenger wing and drivers door? cant see it comming out very shiney tbh looks like theres not enough paint on it, looks better than before though :thumb:

does look better mate but no chance thats gonna get a decent shine,couple of coats short,strip it in paint it now if i was u,less hassle than couple months down the line

was painted with a spray gun and me n my pal flattened and polished a bit on the roof and it came up well. yeah a few runs but they can be sorted. looks better than before so not complaining

Get it flatted and G3'd then see where you stand :)

next weekend i will see what the outcome is. there is good thick coat of paint on the car and flattening it down and plish will bring it. the pics really dont do the car much justice it is shiney outside.

Decent attempt there matey, be sure to stick up some flattened and polished pics then we can really see how well its been done.

Don't forget colour code the door mirrors :thumb:
