a really nice car i seen at billing and then again at york in action.
very well put together and is truly stunning. he says its running over 500 bhp, make your own mind up.

hmmm 500bhp im not sure about that!?
was beat by the nova,meaning that the nova must of been running serious power too!

If its the one I'm thinking of it belongs to a lad from Liverpool Turbo_Chris' mate and it is circa 500bhp.

yeh i think we all know of specky's tigra, was just showing one of the new high power vauxhalls to turn up on the scene.
just shows all that money and power doesnt always do it.

im not sticking up for the lad in the tigra as i dont no who he is but the car could very well have 500 bhp but just is not very usable on the strip mate !

we all do bad runs just seems like you have posted this thread to try an boost your own ego at the cost of someone else's car !!!

See this car quite alot, mainly every sunday, looks great in the flesh . . . But its never really been opened up, so all credit to him for not doing it on public roads :thumb:

Nova weighs a lot less than a tigra too, the rear screen weighs 5ton on its own.

nowt wrong with that im over the moon i won, i was just stating that all that power and money doesnt always make your car alot faster. ive got at least 5 grand worth of parts ready to fit to my nova which will make it similar spec as the tigra but im wondering if it will be worth it.

I know Ste he has had a few bits for the Tigra of me. I have been in this car it was 540 bhp @ 1.6 Bar last time it was on the Rollers But has problems
with the solid lifter Shims at the min but will be sorted soon:thumb:

he was telling me he cant find 3rd on the strip, out of 10 runs at pod he only got 3rd twice or something. hope he gets things sorted.

Had Same problem when we took it out needs a new box when I spoke to Ste a few day ago.

so it has nothing to do with the power he is running then ???

so the question of 'is it worth spending the money' is a bit stupid really :thumb:

Let the lad get the car set up 100% and then have a do with him down the strip ;)

As you know the car has two main issues, one being one of the solid lifters is popping the shim off and keeping the valve open so the car cant be hammered from a stand still. Two is 3rd gear doesnt want to go in which completely fooks the run up!!! To be getting 14 second 1/4 miles at 128mph is quite something else tbh, you wont find many other cars getting terminal speeds like that at 14secs.

His best was a 12.8 with these two problems so there is much more to come i'm sure.
