a truly outstanding example of a bloke with tons of ability but no clue.
Looks well done but i know nothing about single seater racing cars so could be back to front for all i know
Is it just me or his pushrod suspension missing something, and a little hard? lol

also is 1" box section going to be strong enough? especially without suspension that thing is going to fall apart!
 never noticed the lack of suspension.

Looks like an expensive 520 BMW engine to me.
i love the fact that it is about 2.5m longer than a real f1 car.......

Good point actually, it's a good 14-16 foot long lol look at the 6x6 fence panels behind it lol
some prat bought it for £350
is the buyer hidden? would be funny to point out all the massive flaws to him =p
yup, hidden...

id give him some money for it lol
Maybe, just maybe
the buyer knows all this, and has the skills/knowhow to make it something special one way or another.
Some of you guys are far too critical.
Dont see any(at least one person here excluded) of you lot making a space frame chassis in your shed, regardless of whether it's technically flawed or not ;)

yeah, but current scrap value means it isn't worth the trip.....
and not to be rude, but you might need some form of lubricant to slip you into that cockpit...cough cough...

Actually mowgli said the guy is incredibly skilled, and i agree... it's still got scaffolding rods for suspension though lol

ok, so his fab skills are excellent, but it still is a white elephant.
i'm not the greatest fabricator on the planet by a huge margin, but i can see about a thousand things wrong with this car, and the bloke could have made a fine seven replica using much more of the donor car & been able to use it or sell it for a lot of money

Maybe the 'suspension' is just tacked to mock up the chassis for ride height/ground clearance to have struts added at a later date!
The fronts have dampers !... Not quite sure how it's all meant to work.
But hey, better than any attempt i could make.
