?30 will prob be the difference left Locky had to pay on the tax disc going to bigger engine. If you had a 1.2 at start of 6 months then changed to 1.6 for example, theyd charge you the diff for the remainder of the period.

Up to 1.4 and its ?55 x 6 mnths - over that and its about ?90 I think, so my 1.4's ok!
:D

Wot you reckon yer gonna fail on?

more like what wont if fail on...
well it seems to be drinking fuel, think petrol tank has a hole in it, gasket needs changing, i can do that b4 then, fumes from exhaust, things to do with the new engine...
not sure tho...
finger crossed. hows ur car now ade?

sweet m8 sweet - running lovely (touch wood).

Just got a new polished rocker cover for it (will post pics at weekend) and hopefully will have new weber carb by end of month/April.

Power is much better - top end acceleration is ace and I've just got meself a digi dash!

:D

If you think your leaking fuel just leave it standing for a bit and check underneath - you'll see the signs. As for engine drinking fuel, that'll be mixture/tuning prob (u got a 1.6 injection?) - just pay the garage prior to the test to tune it for ya. Save you forking out for a retest etc...

Good luck...
