Hi all, can anyone advise me why my XE buckaroo's all over the place with the throttle position switch connected, yet with it disconnected the car seems to run fine?

I have bosch 0280122001 fitted, but upon looking at http://www.astra-mk2.com/forum/printthread.php?t=21423&pp=40 it looks like i have the 8v sensor....

Can anyone suggest what TPS i should be using?

Its an early XE, pre lamdba FP.

The tps i have is not an adjustable one, and i was told it should be :S

Tried another one, but as you can see by my picture there is a massive size difference, meaning it wont fit!

lol wouldnt think this would be such a difficult problem to solve...

Does anyone have a picture of the throttle position switch and throttle part it attatches onto when used with the early ecu/loom set up...

The only thing i can think of myself is that i have put the earlier loom on, and the throttle plate only fits a newer sensor hence giving the ECU a fault. Might be a wild gues, but nobody seems to know what the problem could be lol.
