my mate is looking at a corsa on ebay and the seller says the engine is a non runner and is in leap mode ??? any ideas .. thanks

It'll be in limp mode, fault with the engine management. Should be a runner then if it's running but in limp mode?

yes sorry limp mode i just checked any ideas what could cause it ?

most likely a fault code in the ecu that has shut it down into limp mode could be a number of things really need to get it on a diagnostics and find out :thumb:

ive bin told it would cost around £50 to sort out.
^ The spend £50, fix it, and have a car thats worth selling :roll:

I'd be more inclined to buy one of the other V6 Corsas on ebay. At least they appear to be all in one piece an running.

I'd at least want the seller to read off the ECU error codes for me so I could gauge what the problems were.
