As some of you may have seen, the graffitied nova. Well started the project today, unfortunately not the graffiti else i would be a very happy lady

but after all week saying to my other half i wanted to do it, thought sod it, ill do it as hes foooking usless lol (although he taped up the sides and stood there taking the pictures!)

after sanding it down with wet and dry, and rougher stuff for the stone chip...yes one chip! (got of lightly i think!) bit of primer to make it stick a wee bit! cracked on with the black board paint :thumb:

only had time for one bloomin coat and the dam flys decided to annoy me :wtf:

and finished...for now, got about three or four more coats on it and should be swish (and a quick sand down)

overall happy with the outcome, Got the roof to go yet, (was thinking checkered for norts and crosses purposes :thumb:

dont do checkers please, it only looks proper mint on vag cars, just go streight for black roof, and then get it scrapeing on the sills

I know it does, but i likes it! we were going to do some thing different, Like just mask out somthing nuts and paint over it..

still undecided yet on the roof. but the checks are heading the way!

and you do need a nova! much fun

This is rat look, stylish wheels, good paint, but with the odd panel made to look old/rusty.

the rat look is many things now, how ever im not finished it, hence why this is in projects is it not?
there will be rust on the car, how ever Not a full bonnet as i personally think that looks crap!

the alloys are a thing to come eventually. being a full time student..money isnt pouring out my ears at the moment

Okay well lets just say FOR NOW it is euro/chalkboard/chav car? Jesus, projects a project and you all think its finished.. yeaaa okay

ANYWHO!

soon will be graffitied as it will be apart of a college project i will have on the go just got to save up for the lacquer as don't want it to look pants after a while as allot of work will be going in to it (can understand if some will hate the idea!)

as for alloys ill be buying some oz volcanos which have been sprayed up in black (although could do with a refurb with the other halfs driving!)
for now will be staying on 60mm springs, and possibly in the future when i can have it on its ****, some coilovers. Just at the moment its not practical to have it on its **** :(

cut the springs FTW. looks a tidy nova so be careful not to ruin it, personally think it suits the black bonnet. should be interesting to see the grafitti as well, ignore some of the comments on here, some people have nothing better to do/like winding people up

and they can say as they wish, the rat look means many things now (as always terms change from the original!)

still trying to find some one who can graffiti (i suck big time...cant spell to save my live for a start!)

haha the bonnet lol

go get some brown,black and green rattle cans and get ya camo on. and put coilovers or chopped springs and some camo slabs on it.

Well i got the new alloys not sure exacly what ones they are but vauxhall gsi i was told? Doesnt bother me they were free for the steelies haha!

urm currently mechanics have taken over as they were needed desperatly due to the thread being cross threaded. So once thats done, now im working full time, the car will be contued january on wards... I hope to maybe find a decent graffiti artist or it will return to show room standard. just loward on coilies
