Is there gunna be any power gains to be had putting a 1.3sr carb & inlet manifold onto a 1.2 with K&N & backbox no other mods?

Also is there going to be any difference in sound?

sound wise, the engine will "grunt" when you accelerate and depending on what backbox u get it will sound loud

Can get the stuff for ?30, think its worth doing?

yep. when you remove it from the donor car though whatever you undo or remove, id take with u JIC, nothing worse than finding your one parts short or summat breaks tekin it off

yes you will need to get the water pipes aswell which you wont have also the throttle cable which is different

rest just bolts together , need a 12v feed for the carb heater which is taped up by the alternator on the 1.2 loom (black with yellow tracer)

easy swap

thats rite, its autochoke heater
it runs in conjunction with the coolant temp and its also supplys to the idle cut out switch iirc.
the car works ok without it but as its there u might aswell fit it
