Lowering Kits

If I fit loweing springs will it fuck my standard dampers and how much. is anyone running springs with normal dampers are they ok. Will they make a difference to the handling of the car

ive got normal shocks on -40mm springs. it will no fcuk ur shocks at all. But it will be an improvment on handling if you can afford the whole kit.

sports spring (smaller) will shag the dampers as the dampers are not designed for the springs - 40mm not too bad (still not the best) but 60mm drop is bad - wont knacker immediately but will wear out quick and handling will be sh1te.

Springs buffer shocks from the road - shocks keepo the wheels on the road and absorb some bumps.

If yer gonna lower the car get a a full kit - I think supernovas were doing gmax kits for ?190 60mm all round springs n dampers

Dont just go for springs! Cost you more in the long run!

i have a gmax kit too, and i rate it :)

i used to have -60 springs on normal shocks without problems, but it didnt handle anything like this does.

if i was to go for the -60 or -40 kit....
what mods would i have 2 do to my arches??
the back end already covers a bit of my back wheel as standard...
only got 15" wheels n gte springs

I just got the -60mm Gmax kit from Larkspeed for ?180.

Ive got 15" wheesl and no arch mods and its fine.

Get urself some poly bumpstops aswell though, worth it on a 60 mm drop, ?14 a pair for Spax ones.

15's in et49 lowered 60mm will be perfect! Should fit fine no rubbing!

Unless MAYBE back packed out with peeps!

In that the kit, the dampers are uprated and come with the springs for the ?180 inclusve!
