you need the ignition module which is the same plug as where the coil would be....
ok wicked. thanks, now i just need to find one lol

is this ign module the thing in the pic above on the end of the exhaust cam?
whats the name of the "black" boxthe leads plug into...
many thanks guys
No,
Right the ign module is a small black bit of plastic about 2inch long, on a L shape bi of metal (two bolt holes each end)
The bit on the end where the dizzy would be is the cam end black and it has the cam sensor in it.
also, just seen the post benn posted in about some small black box on an angle bracket, lol i have one of these, where does it go lol :>

black box is your coil pack
It plugs in on the end of the loom, will be a 4pin flat plug.
ok cool, so it needs 3 parts, the end cap with cam sensor in.
the coil pack, which sits on the other end of the other cam,
and then the small L bracket with the black box, and i have this lol

bingo lol
There is a bracket that the coilpack bolts on too, that then bolts to the side of the head.
Which looks like this...

what you going to do with the engine std/bike carbs/webbers/throttle bodies
what you going to do with the engine std/bike carbs/webbers/throttle bodies
im unsure yet....
i might go twin 40's which i know means i need either the dizzyt set up, or aftermarket maybe
thought about TB as i have heard good things. again which means aftermarket coilpack and management but high costs.
or standard.
im not sure yet lol i think i will cross that bridge when i come to it.
