Front Xe Mount?????

i have installed a 2litre 8 valve calibra engine into my nova, i fabricated my own front engine mount from scratch . the question i have is that i have just bought a early 20xe (2l 16 v) from a mk2 astra gte as an upgrade, and was wondering if the front mount i have would fit the new block or are the hole positions out of line by much. any help would be appriciated......also is it better to run the xe on a f20 or f16 box for the best performance ...??? many thanks :thumb:

16v and 8v blocks are exactly the same so yes it should fit

i personally would use the f20 just because they are a stronger box
