You'll have to get aftermarket management probably similar to what you ran your charger on or either megajolt or mbe ignition only.

 I thought he had some other management to fuel :(
id look at either ford edis set to run spark only or megajolt, as its compatible with vaux sensors.
A mate runs EDIS on his XE'd Manta. It's FTW.

have included a quote below of what you will need. The kit includes everything that you will need other than a set of spark plug leads, which you can either source from one of a number of online supplies or from a local motor factors who would be able to sell you "hotwires" modular plug leads.

cheap for a serious noise..........
for £300 you can get a full megasquirt. then you can run triumph tripple throttle bodies which would be much cooler
Plus edis is old ****e anyway
hmmm, wonder how well carbs would work on a v6, who'd make the inlet manifold? Why not just save and tb it.
Edit burgo beat me to it.
concidering you can get triumph tripple bodies for £100 each aswell its crazy not to
Theres a guy on the VVOC with a Carb'd V6 Vec so my brother in law was telling me?
V6 on carbs in a Nova has been done before...
I need an Eaton M90 or Rotrex C30-94 :d
