View Full Version : GSI throttle cable discontinued!!!!!!!! NEED HELP
i have fitted a gsi lump in my 1.2 carb nova and the throttle cable wont fit so i rang the auto store and they said it was a dealer part so i rang vauxhall dealers and they said they dont sell that part any more so what am i ment to do now?????????? really need some help on this lads please plus rep for any info thanks in advance :thumb:

Because of the age of the car, and no newer cars used them (they only produce parts for a certain amount of time after the car) and as above, try autovaux?

Use a Corsa SRi one then.
Incidently Corsa SRi cables fit Sport 40's ;)
i have a gte one for sale, presume they might be similar. not brand new. pm if wanted.

one out of a mk3 astra will fit or sri corsa
8 valve corsa sri?
The SRi is an 8v. 16v's are Sports.

ive fitted a cable from a mk2 astra sri works fine
try looking in scrap yards at other vuaxs should find one
just use the 1.2 cable & get the bracket on the manifold modified.

Or use a Corsa GSi one. Just a bit longer.

Incorrect!
Early Corsa SRi's came as 16v too, then they changed them to a Sport for insurance purposes.:thumb:
