last night someone broke into my car!! nicked the face of the steoro and that was it! :mad:

im concerned they might come back for the rest of the steoro tonight!

Aye, remove it all and make sure the wires are hanging out so they can see there's nothing there.

Don't leave the face on! Bit late now mind. :(

make sure the wires hang out so it either makes it looks as if someone else has alredy had it

I'll never understand why people leave faces on "face-off stereos" :roll:

Still gutted for you and you won't be the last to do it, im sure. Fit an alarm and plenty of flashing led's.

forgot to take face-off, never thought that id have a theiving ******* trying to steal it so soon only been parked in my mum's driveway 3 nights!

Never ever leave anything on sight in your car ever, i remove the stereo front and throw the remote in the glovebox out the way and whip me wheel off when my car is parked up:thumb:

The appropriate word there is 'some' speakers, meaning 'a pair' a pair meaning left and right and therefore 'stereophonic' sound, therefore = stereo :p

was out a car and it won't budge and there is a part bent were it looks like he's had a screwdriver trying to take it out..so i don't know what to do

try and get your hand up behind the dash, if thats a no-no then do what the tea leaf did and resort to the screwdriver method lol

tbh lad i would be more worried about them trying to steal the car itself , hazzard trick bump and its gone take lead off from the coil to the dizzy , it might be a pain in the **** but its better than the car going walkies what they do to it lad like get into it wedge the door ?

There is a nice little security measure on the car which should prevent them from stealing it.

However not so nice to hear, did they do any other damage to the car?

back in the bad old days, when radio 1 was still on 275 & 285MW, you could buy something called a snatch plate, yes, seriously, and you could remove the whole stereo & simply carry it round with you until you could shove it back in your car..... they were crap when trying to get a mk1 scirocco into orbit over canal bridges

Can't say I'll ever use it though, had one in my first Nova too and never used it.

thankfully no, you can notice the lock damaged ever so slightly but appart from that its not noticeable.

look for a new face on ebay believe it or not but if u find one same model and make they work done it a few times at work when we are missing headunit faces.
