I love it how...

The rear tyre has a slow puncture on the Nova, that way when i cant push it i have an excuse to drive it to get to the compressor :p

i had a slow puncture and i was loading some lead at the same time on an extension i was doing and the home owner said the lead was theres and trying to say it never weighed that much the flat tyre said different lol

i like how my car refuses to drive with a stutter every now and again until you give it a burst of 7000rpm lol. will go forever sweet as a nut afterwards then

just occasionally the fuel gauge light comes on and the reading goes off the scale. a quick thump to the top of the dash sorts that.

the indicators sometimes refuse to self cancel till you hit the steering wheel.

every radio station within 5 miles of my house has a "pulse" (bear in mind i only have a LW/MW tuner)

then the usual vaux characteristics, dash rattles ffom one place, clutch pedal, slightly ominous clunk...

I love how mine failed its mot and has cost me £100 to fix, but apart from that I cant think of anything wrong with it except the dent and a few scratches. Hopefully back on the road for next week when I have a week off.

i love that i have to knock on my dials for my fuel gauge to wake up

And i love that i have to tap the right of the dials to get the right hand side bulb on. Also, i love how my hazards have to be pressed several times before they turn off.

I love the way mine can do 0 to 60 in 6.4 seconds and then wants to tickover @ 600rpms then turn off.
Also the way the fan wanted to stay on @ combe then turned off after about 20 mins.
Bloody nova's.

...my nephews mates have stopped calling my car names after I scared the poo out of one of them by taking him for a spin (several actually)

.....my Nova:

Idles off a cylinder. And at about 1-1250k rpm. Depending on temp, mood and how hard the altenator is working.

Rasps it's Ashley baffles at 3k rpm every gear and produces a loud grinder like noise. Turns heads up the town anyway lol .

Has lazy temp/fuel gauges, a tight slap to the clocks wakes them up.

Starves itself of petrol when I overtake on a bumpy main road.

Has an exhaust that is lazy and therefore lies on the back axle.

......

Now some things that I actually like about it lol :

Has a little 1200 that refuses to bust....does lots of miles nearly every week.... taps the valves mosts days ....and the gets the ignition flicked at the top of 2nd regularly.

Some people actually think its a GSi til I tell them.

It hasn't got one rust hole anywhere!

yours has huge problems, the engine isn't big enough and it needs painted lol, get it done man, be a smart car when its finished. this is the last engine i'm putting in for a while, and cv's count as consumables, same as tyres, gearboxes, wheels bearings and your underpants when you're in the passenger seat lol. going for a quaife LSD so should stop it spinning the inside wheel as violently, shouldn't kill 'boxes every 5 mins either. get my intercooler and bits to put the engine in at the end of the month, cant wait. i have an XE on webers that would be right at home in yours;)
