Im going to be removing my interior in favour of bare metal, but as my car used to be blue, and is now orange, im going to have to paint the inside.

Whats the prefferred method?

Hammerite?

Sand/primer/paint?

Also, what colour you reckon?

Cheers.:thumb:

Shagpile, no seriously matt black i did mine with hammerite and a brush, smooths out the brush marks by itself as it's sooooo thick.

no worries, only just noticed the huge puddle in the top pic on the back seats where the cover blew off. It took me about an hour and a half with one and a half medium sized pots of hammerite. And i did the roof the floor all up behind the dash and the rear seat benches.

Hammerite?????

sand it down propperly, prime it and sand some more, then paint and laquer. the finnish is 100x better and worth the effort.

I'd use paint if it's going to be anything other than black. I'd imagine you'd stand more chance of polishing up the inside if painted too. Depends on what finish your after i guess...?

depends what sort of finish you want to be fair, i was track prepping mine out so just hammerited it, but if you want a show car paint it the same as you would outside.
