Hi all,

Even thou i've been a member on here since 2007, i became a paying member the other day :thumb: as i've eventually bought a Nova. I'll start up a project thread soon.

Anyway to the point i need advice on a couple of things - i have tried the search funtion but no luck.

I've currently got a Corsa Gsi Turbo but swapping as much over to the Nova as possible.

- Does the conversion kit suit the Nova from the Corsa?
- Can i use the lower front anti roll bar and spacer blocks?
- Has anyone made their own polycarbonate windows - if so any links?

Think thats all.

Thanks people.

lowering blocks are the same
make your own windows from decent polycarb (easy)
shafts etc will not fit as they are 2inch longer.
hubs ets fit along with bottom arms as the corsa ones are strengthened from standard

Cheers Let Nova.

So i'm still not clear about the lower anti roll bar and mountings?

Where can i buy new seal from when ready to fit the poly carbs in?

Thanks again.

There for a tigra (x16xe) on ebay for £19.32 delivered thought they mite be a decent thing to buy if you cant be bothered to strenghten your own..

No as corsa/tirgas are wider, so i dont believe they will.

Corsa bottom arms are NOT wider than nova ones. its the actuall width of the shell/chassis that is wider

So they'll be to short?

Its been discussed a few times and I still dont see why u'd ever want those bottom arms.

why not?

More unsprung weight, no huge advantage in strength in the direction you need it. Plus if you crash you do more damage to chassis, id rather replace a bent wishbone.

meh no harm in it. ideal for big power XE/LET

Again everyone thanks for the input.

The engine i've got is around the 250bhp and is prob going to stay there.

Was just trying to find out what parts i can chuck and what parts i can keep.

LET NOVA - Is it brand new seals or second hand? Can you still buy brand new?

good condition second hand.

Why? does a big power XE/LET have more weight/cornering speed than a standard XE/LET?

its not just a downward force on them. it does NO harm in fitting them. just that little bit of extra strength.

The only reason i ask is because i know a couple that have snapped on novas?? there much better strenghtend!
