if you remove the gutters the roof will come off lol and when it rains the water will pour down the sides and drip on you when you open the doors.

Supposedly you can still buy new ones from vauxhall.

You can buy the passenger side only as the drivers side a nls. Buy 2 passenger and rotate and fit.
I prefer them on rather than off.

i got 2 passenger ones few weeks back, chap down vauxhall said there was only a few left. :(
If you're gonna de-gutter it will be like de-seaming a Mini but a fair bit easier. Still hard/pointless graft IMO.

i have a very good condition saloon one knocking about , iirc they are longer than hatch ones so its just sat in the rafters doing nothing you want it ?
A friend took his of many years ago. The only prob was he got into the car a bit quick one day and bashed his head on the uncovered bit. Not a prity site.

Sound matey, i always thought they were the same length but never actually tried. Would you be willing to stick it in a card tube or something and post it?
the gutters also ensure the rain doesnt get in to the crappy Nova seals round the doors...

ahh damn i can imagine that.
on mine its pushed back a bit to far and the metal gutter is sticking out a bit at the end, i got in the car once with my hand on the roof and it cut inbetween my thumb and index finger

32mm or 40mm household drain pipe is ideal as theres room to write the address lol
