Not on base models only SR,Sport,GSI,GTE,TD
e16se are 100bhp to its just the c16sei whats 98bhp
and the sri is 82bhp
there both 98? gte and gsi ?
sport was 100 bhp
but sport had a short fd so was faster to 60 lol
GTE and most GSI's should be the same power, Only the later C16SE would i expect to put out less power due to the emmissions stuff.
My 1L swing made 45bhp on the rollers last year... wohoo lol
was gonna say the 1.0's are 45 break standard, also thought the sports were 88bhp not a 100?
Sports are about 88bhp, definitely not 100bhp - although they did have a slightly quicker 0-60 time than a GTE/GSI, .1 or .2 of a second iirc
auto data says 100bhp for gte and gsi (e16se)

When you see the power figures for 80s/90s cars, you can really see how far they have came these days!
In a nut shell the 1600's are the only ones worth going really, the 1400 carbs are a hoot to drive A/B roads mind.
Ultimatly not as rewarding (in standard form - power wise) as some other late 80's early 90's motors tho.

I've seen varied figures for the Sport - some have said 99-100bhp, some have said ~90bhp. Wasn't there an optional irmscher cam that gave the extra ~10bhp?
Check Bebo for more accurate Performance figures on 1.0s and 1.2is. They're never wrong y0.

I thought it was.
98HP for a 1.6 GSi
and 93HP for a 1.3 Sport.
Is 1295cc for a 1.2 spi correct? if so they're even more pitiful than I thought lol
Whoops, capacities on the 1.2's was a typo on my part there.
1195cc and 1196cc it should be.
Thought it was odd, still pitiful though lol
Sweet so i have 45bhp power lol. Still pokey and a blast to drive
