hope you like. this is my first attemt at this type of thing and tackled the body work and paint on my own and got some help with the harder welding (generally when it requiered strenght lol). the engine was in when i got it but it was rough as shat, its sweet as a nut now after a full service and a lot of bits and bobs from my mate matt who helped with the welding too so a massive shout out to him. its had almost all the interior removed and goes like stink, reaped enough big bikes and scoobies to know there isnt anything for the money out there quicker!! please feel free to leave any good/bad remarks

A few engine pictures. note the blue insulation tape covering everything removed. i also ended up going for the silvertop effect. didnt think red had any place on a purple car except in spirt

You might wanna re tape the loom.
whys that? at the moment there is lots of thing still going to happen to and dont want to have to strip all that crap of again. i might think abput routing it aroung the back of the inner wings.
that's ok, i believe you. a great many people wouldn't believe you in the slightest, using the fact that you tried to obscure the reg no. which, if it was only used on private roads, would be unnecessary, and the fact that it is still taxed
if it was not correctly registered & used on the road, then it is one of those vehicles that helps put other peoples insurance costs up.....which is wrong.

dvla hasnt been informed dude. insurance is in order...... save me the lectures please, i've had much bigger legal matters hanging over my head the last 9months and find it all very annoying. but it is your right to point it out, its just not necessary lol
Well i hope youre going to inform the dvla then as its tax fraud otherwise!

its not on the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
Well why does it have insurance then?
I cba to argue with you as this happens all the time and people think that saying its on a private road or off the road we will beleive them, you will soon find out when you get stopped by the feds!
why all the fuss he says its on private land why shouldnt we belive him and realy why are you botherd it doesnt affect you in any way so why not just leave it.
nice car by the way.

Read my last post i just said i cba to argue, and the only reason anything got said is because this happens all of the time on here!
Anyways, back on topic...........

you savior!!! thank you. i've completly busted my inexperienced broke balls on this car over the last 7-8 months. re did the body work, painted it, stripped it and gave it a rebirth as it was well and truely rotten and destind to be scrapped including the none running engine. i am just another keeper of the nova faith.... but not an angel :thumb:

it was a 1.2 while on the road.
But you said the engine was in when you got it?

06-09-09, 07:23 PM
there are things called spanners and hammers.
lol Sorry i'm being picky. If you bought it as a xe, then youve drivenit on the road. Or did you remove it and refit a 1.2?

no one is bothered how bigger trouble you will get into or for your sake which you will get nailed if a traffic cop pulls you over! but the reason insurance goes up for young drivers on novas and many other cars is because of research and facts that people like you convert them and dont log it and accidents do happen !! so quit giving it the biggen about how much you dont give a **** about it cos not you that pays the price is it. but that dont matter cos your mr dont give a ****:thumb:
its pretty low but not over the top. i know ive got oversized shafts and motorsport hubs. i need to look into getting tracking sorted. i nearly killed myself and a double decker the first time in nailed it lol. any good tyre suggestions also. i got average tyre but still have all there tread on so am holding back on new ones.
taken from his other thread questioning tourqe steer
is there bouble deckers on this private land then ?? im 1 day old aswell lads ?

That would mean the forums would be dead though as there are people who use them a lot who aren't legit
Shame really as it would be good if something like that could be done.
