IIRC Roll Center cages all need the tubes profiling which is a bitch of a job.

They sell a tool for £150 to profile the ends, so in theory it would be the same price as one with profiled ends. i would either sell the tool on or use it again either way im £££ in :thumb:

Well thats all groovy & cool an stuff but........
Can you weld to a good degree??
A cage is only as strong as the welds that hold it :thumb:

i moved into a new unit a few weeks ago, just so happens the the bloke next door is a welder fabricator and does all my machine work so he will be doing it for me, my welding is no where near good enough for that :thumb:

i thought all the peter maiden bad feedback came from the same bloke who had some almighty grievance.....
anyway, if your neighbour is a fabricator, why not just get the correct tubing & get him to do the rest?

Profiling the ends of the tubing at the correct angles first time is not as easy as it looks - believe me, I had to do it !!!!
Unless your creating something a bit special ;) that requires a none standard cage - buy a cage thats already profiled - make the whole job a lot easier
