hey guys iv a 1.2st it dont come with a cat but been hearing that taking my mid box out will gain me some power but i thought having a straight through you will have no back pressure which means i would losing power wat is right help me lol cheers

you will gain no power whatsoever from removing the middle box.. you will drastically increase the noise inside but not necessarily outside..

you can vastly improve the 1.2 exhaust by getting a std 1300 4-2-1 manifold & downpipe to replace the std 4-1 thing.

you can gain power on the std 1300 by opening up the 2-1 joint on the downpipe and cleaning it up with a grinder, then re-welding it.

swapping the std backbox for a decent performance one will do quite a bit.

BUT remember, tuning a 55hp 12st will not gain huge amounts.

just get a cheapy one from the tyre/exhaust shop...

but look up the pipe to see how the two pipes get squashed to fit the one pipe.. either chop it up or get a dremel up it.
