Let Into A Nova

How much roughly would it cost to fit a let into a nova? how hard is the conversion to do? just want to know thinking about doin it.:thumb:

It would cost £1200-£1800 for the engine,cooler,exhaust,loom,box,shafts/hubs etc

Then money for the welding,paint,big brakes,uprated suspension...

there was a thread ages ago bout this, generaql concensus was 4k to do it right, and that was from a few let owners.

If you can DIY then to build a ok spec ones is 4-5k, if you pay people then more, if you want a proper spec one upwards of 10k

lol, whats the difference between 'ok' and 'proper'? If you can do it yourself and shop around i'd say you can build a very high spec road/track version for 4k including buying the car in the first place. It all depends on what its for at the end of the day, power wise i dont see much point in anything over Phase 2 tune for the road. Dedicated track and strip use is a different ball game.

It all depends on what its for at the end of the day, power wise i dont see much point in anything over Phase 2 tune for the road. Dedicated track and strip use is a different ball game.

Assuming you do everything yourself then thats £4000 based on maximum prices. Id consider mine to be decent track spec and that fits within that. If its dedicated track then i'd be spending more on brakes and uprating the turbo. JUst going from what ive spent in the past etc.

Remove £600 for wheels, spend 50notes on steels, then £300 on proper good tyres.

I wouldnt pay over a grand for a let either.
