Just got total Vauxhall is it true that the standard 1.3SR does 103 max speed and 0-60 in 12.5 secs with 68bhp?

Seems a little low for me....

In official magazines & things like that they always tend to be lower i've noticed... Ive had 100mph out of a standard 1litre engine :)(think it was standard anyway)

m8's got a 1.2 corsa and can only just get 100 down hill wiv 4 people in it

I think corsas are heavier than novas so thats prob why...

Ive seen a mate do about near 110mph out of his 1.2 nova standard engine, but bare in mind that the nova clocks r usually out so he prob av been doin less.

My 1.2 struggled to get to 100 but i wasn't going to stop till it got there!! :twisted: Took the air filter off to try and solve a fueling problem (turned out to be a in-line fuel filter) and got 106 out of it.

Anyone got an up jetted 1.2 with K&N?? Wots the top speed then??

and no point using the speedos for gauging speed cos anything ver 70 mph and there in accurate
