Just found these on my mates old camera, its a 1.4 Flair my mate had when we were like 17/18 and back the it seemed the fastest car ever!! lol

But then due to one of those silly little scraps you seem get into every other weekend when you are kids, a couple of lads ran over to the car with metal poles and tried to pull us out of the car.

So my mate shat himself and reversed full pelt into a lamp post on a local tesco!!!

The lad in the back seat ended up looking bemused sat on the dash and his glasses were never found!! These pics really take me back any one else got any old skool write offs??

Yeah I was 18 the other lad 17, and it was as fast as the little 8v would shift in reverse, but looking at it I still think how the frig did we manage that (was pretty rotten underneath tho!).

And thinking about it now would love to have heard his call to the insurance!!

Dunno probably not actually, we got the lads back though the main one of them had a MK2 Astra GTE with a hideous jap body kit and F 50 vents in the bonnet, so we scratched "I love cock" in the bonnet and drew spunking cocks all over the glitter fleck paint with our keys (looking back it was a bit harsh but meh, he killed our beloved Nova)

I do remember discussing tying the back end to a tree with a long rope and going forward to try and pull it out but never even tried lol

My mate ran off and got chased by one of them then a lad we were with in an Escort started running the lads over it was well funny!!
