sub trouble

wen i turn my lights on, my sub comes on even with the live cable off my battery.. why is this??? cheers fast kev..

How have you set your amp up? eg. what wires go to wot & then maybe I can help...

You done something proper wrong there!

You basically need:

Live from batt straignt to amp!
Earth to chassis from amp.
Remote turn on/off from stereo to amp.
Phono leads from stereo to amp.

Speaker wire from amp to Sub

DONE!

Als make sure your live wire is up teh other side of your car to the phono leads. not that this is your prob. Check you have the phono leads the right way i.e. + 2 + and - 2 -. And id check all teh other wires are in the right bits. Other wise id suggest sending your amp back to where you got it from.
