It will be 3 years in Feb 2010 I have had the car
Sooo... would it not be easier to say "I've had the car 2 and a half years" lol
Remember unrelated comments on for sale ads earn a slap with the banhammer, so if there's comments to be made, lets keep them on this thread

Didn't quite know how to put how long I've had the car lol
2.5 years would be more appropriate but I'll leave it as it is
Just gauging interest at the moment folks :thumb:
Can i just ask what the crack is with these "gauging interest" threads?! Its either for sale or its not imo.

My thoughts exactly TBH. Its either for sale or it isnt. When selling cars people get fed up with time wasters. Whats to say buyers dont get fed up with time wasters??!!
Well imagine going all the way to Scotland to view for example, then offering the asked amount to be told well im just gauging interest at the minute but i will let you know when ive decided what to do.You are not going to be happy.
I must admit i agree with andy, either its for sale or its not?
Im guessing since vaughan's started driving he fells that the wee 1.2 is to slow.

My impression is that "gauging interest" is an invitation for contact from people who would be interested in purchasing. Of course, as a seller, there's nothing to stop you offering an item for sale then withdrawing it with no reason. If someone travelled to view a car, they're clearly interested in buying it; although I guess you do get more than your fair share of tyre kickers when selling stuff.
Mind you, if I was reluctant or unsure about selling something, I'd put it up with a price I'd accept - if nobody met that price, I would assume there was no interest.

I reckon vaughan wants a mk1. Simples.
However, gauging interest is just that. I wanted rid of mine for the right money, but still cant decide if I would let it go. I do know for one thing. I'd love the money in my pocket & to still have the car on the drive.
Every car has a price, even if its an extortionate one. I know if someone came up to me, wads of cash in hand for the Nova, I'd have trouble saying no.
....thats not an invitation for forum replies/PMs of "how much" or "I'll give you £xyz" lol
Il give you £30, thats a wad of 3 ten pound notes.
