carb to inlet gasket

Hi all - just a quickie, What is the best/most suitable gasket material to make a gasket to go between carb adapter plate and the inlet? theres lots off different types and i know not to use the cork stuff:thumb:

ive tried gasket sealer - didnt seem to do the job, It was the paper I was meaning - is there any particular type/thickness to go for?

ime the thicker the better. but lots of places dont sell the thick stuff anymore :(

worst case, get some cereal box and smear gasket goo on that

its modified, ive ordered some carb gasket paper .8mm thick so will see how it goes - thanks for the replies guys fingers crossed
