URGENT HELP NEEDED!

My wiper motor has packed in, and i need one for combe at the weekend, so i have identified it as a Corsa B/C motor, but now need help, does anyone know if the Corsa B's in these pics will fit/work OK, as they have an extra bit mine does not (might be an intermittent switch built in etc)

Need to order one tonight for it to get here for Friday, or im coming in the Yellow 1.2 lol

Here's mine on the car now.

Carnt see why it wouldn't work scott although you may have to make a bracket for it to mount to. they all work in more or less the same way although someone else feel free to correct me:wtf: .

There all the same sorta design between the 3, but the mouting place may slighty differ. I have a corsa one fitted to the nova, it just sits up a bit lol

Right im proper pissed off!

Been out in the poring rain to look at it again, and now im certain that the motor is seized, as the water is running along the linkage and then dripping right onto the motor ware the join is between the end cover (black) and the motor part (silver)
http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/6774/dscf0216small.jpg

And IMO it's been dripping onto it over a long time and worked the water between the join and has ****ed it!
There was a patch of dry rusty water marks last time i looked, but i though nothing of it, in fact i have a pic.

Conclusion, wiper motor is needed and need to have it to fit for Friday night, early Sat morning!..

The bottom one is a corsa b.

The corsa motor will have a black purple wire, this is the speed linked wipe, just leave it off. Mine work fine.

A nova one will fit and work tho.

Try filling it with wd40 or other penetrating oil overnight scott, worth a try cos you might find it frees up and works by the am:thumb:

lol Top idea, but it would be washed out of it before i could spray it in and screw it back together.

Potentially highlighted an issue there with these motors up on the open scuttle tray.

Firewall FTW.

But the water would be running down thru the scuttle cut out...

Pics

So i removed the cover (found out how it works) has two magnets in it etc.

http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/8168/dscf0261x.jpg

See the water damage, looks like there was allot of water built up inside the motor for a while now.

http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/8602/dscf0263.jpg

http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/5414/dscf0264b.jpg

So i rubbed it down with a wire brush, cleaned the magnets out in the cover, and then put it together again with some sealant round the edge, then added some more on the outside joint.

All good, I'm quite chuffed with my handy work too! lol lol
