Seeing as im breaking my nova, im starting to look for something to replace it. I originally wanted a Sapphire cosworth, and still do. But finding a decent one for a decent price is difficult! Also insurance is a killer. Had a look at rev3 mr2 turbos aswell. Get a lot of car for the money! Anyone had experiance with them?

Any other suggestions? Iv got a maximum of 6k to spend.

I wouldnt get any type of cosworth mate... My dad and a few friends have had many in the past.... Engine wise they are more problematic than let's! plus the insurance will be horrendous at your age... Ctr's arent bad but for cheap,fast,reliable thrills Id look an impreza? A well looked after uk car would be all of the above and not break the bank either in my opinion.

Classic Impreza Turbo 2000 (UK model, ive found cheapest one to insure) CTR as said, Civic VTi's. Evo 3 or 4 but dont be suprised if it disappears in the night (garaged or not!)

MR2 Turbo as you say, you do get a lot of car for your money, ive looked at plenty, sadly i cant get one :( i need something bigger, hence Evo or Impreza.

If you want to keep in the Vauxhall scene the Astra GSi or Coupe Turbo are a good choice and relible. They are quite affordable now and insurance wont be too bad. CTR's are nice but a bit to frantic for me, I prefer the torque of a turbo and the Z20LETS are a nice smooth & torquey engine

get a dc2 type R you will get a decent 98spec for 6k
