im breaking a 1.6 ecotech, no idea whether its a c16xe or x16xe
stripping due to bottom pully coming off and smashing all my valves
aparently its been chiped and camed
base price without loom as i still need that £200
without ecu its £100
let me know what you need

Its not an ecotech mate. :wtf: i never said it had been cammed or chipped, i said i was told it was, there's no rev limiter thats why i suspected it had been chipped. I also dont know if it has been cammed but the engine felt so quick and managed to out perform a redtop corsa in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear lol

I dont want to be responsible for you saying to somebody that its cammed and chipped for them to find out its not and then the blame comes back to me, hence the post

well if you can strip the cams out and confirm there uprated. im interested

also the ecu. take the case off and have a look, pics aswell :)

the ecu is NOT chiped its a gsi ecu, basically its not a sport engine its a gsi corsa 16v

As ALL C16XE's are. Rev limit should be around 6600, if its not then look inside the ecu. On some theres a little plate to be removed, others you have to remove the full case.

It revved past 7000 mate thats why i thought it had been chipped, you are correct though buddy it does have a little plate on it.

have you got the water pipe that goes from the matrix pipe to the inlet and tees off to the throttle body. how much posted?
also i may be interested in cams if they are uprated.

id sell the whole engine for £120 mate, took the plate off the ecu and i cant see no obviouse chip, will upload fotos later
