Righto Peeps, testing the water here with the sale of my very good condition, low mileage 1.0 Swing in Red.

Firstly the mouldings have been removed for polishing and are in the boot and will be re fitted. Car has faded in a few place's but will be detailed prior to sale.

Car has a genuine 27k miles with all previous MOTs to confirm this. Car runs and drives as sweet as a nut! It is complete and totally un molested down to the original mirrors and optional GM LW/MW only radio, unused spare, correct rear bumper etc etc. It is also complete with an unusal sunroof which winds up and over the roof ala Pug 106/Saxo style. Currently taxed till Jan 10 and fresh MOT pass date 07th September 2009 - So runs out 06/09/10.

This car is structually solid and has had no welding upon the floor, boot floor and inner wings etc - The usual Nova places. It did however require a sill upon the drivers side for last years MOT in which I was alittle gutted:( . This has been loving replaced by my brother who is a time served panel beater of 20 years and fellow car enthusiast. Both lower halfs have then been repainted upto and behind the moulding - hence also for being removed. Other than that the car is untouched i.e. 24 years old so has some minor marks here and there and old small dents. These do not detract from the cars overall appearance in which I think is excellent.

Forsale due to a lack of time and hoping it to go to a loving home (I have done less than a 1000 miles in it in over 6 years:eek: )

I have tried to be honest and think this will look awesome lowered on some retro wide rims...

sin to scrap it, most dealers will give you half the scrappage value if you dont have a car to scrap, they are desperate just to get a sale. The best example was the fiat panda, it was £5k before the scrappage scheme, the week before the scrappage scheme started it actually jumped up to £6k. Of course the government and dealers would never do any scams!

IMO the car would sell for the full asking price but its just the wrong time to sell anything as its just days after xmas and most people are pennyless if you can i'd hold out till after new year when things are a bit more stable. Nice car, good luck.

Zeus, your Audi looks an awesome car and would look great lowered on wide rims. Unfortnately I would only consider a more modern P/X, something that could be used everyday and not have the respect your Audi deserves.

I can then think about sell my Golf 1.8T20v everyday driver...

The car now has 12 months MOT as of this morning - flew through with no advisories.

Side mouldings now refitted.

Brand new battery fitted yesterday with 3 years warranty.

Recent brand new front brake calipers and pads. One claiper had seized, prob due to the car standing doing fook all and so I replaced the pair.

I am open to sensible offers
