This guy used one can (1 litre) on each door which makes a layer of approx 1.5-2 mm. 5 cans for the 2 doors (Golf MK IV) including the door pannels, i think he used DLS stuff cos the car is mounted with DLS speakers, amps, subs...
Surely it would be cheaper buying loadsa dynamat etreme if you use that much spray!
...yeah but think how much easier it would be ud be able to get in all the little nukz and crannys!
you need summut light yet dense.
Neil - I reckon expanding foam will sort yer squeeks out.
Expanding foam may also work as a sound deadening material too...
Dunno though...
expanding foam isn't bad just don't get it on yer windows cos its a bitch to get off and as for dynamat extreme forget it way too exoensive try brown bread - same stuff half the price, i used to be a dynamat fanatic until ?40 worth of the stuff decided it was going to peel off my door and the brown bread has stayed shtum!
try body shutz way cheaper and you get high as a kite spraying the stuff, its good but make sure you don't block the drainage holes in the door cos it will rot like a 3 month old dead sheep!
