today been over the severn bridge in the novavan and was charged for a van the size of a transit when i complained to the woman she just said a van is a van not happy

you think thats bad!!! i was charged the commercial rate in my pick-up when it had no fooking floor. i asked wtf am i gonna put in the back and they just said that aint the point

Airbrush some interior onto the panels. It'll fool em.

They are twunts though, I was so used to whacking the M6 toll charge on my card, I totally forgot the welsh bastids dont take them and forgot to take cash when I was going over it one time last year.

I had to do the embarrassing convoy of shame and was lead back onto the eastbound carriageway :(

feck!!! 5.40!!!!! mind you I thought it was steep when I was a student and it was under £4

why the hell does it keep going up? is it owned by the french or something?
Truckers want to be blocking the bridges me thinks.

It wouldnt be quite as painfull if it was to pay to get into England :d

Humber (charged both ways)

1. Motor Cycles with or without sidecar.£1.20
2. Cars and Goods vehicles having a maximum weight not exceeding 3.5 tonnes. Motor Caravans. £2.70
3. Goods vehicles having a maximum gross vehicle weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes but not exceeding 7.5 tonnes. Vehicles within Class 2 above, with trailers. Small buses (with seating for 9-16 passengers) £4.90
4. Goods vehicles having a maximum gross vehicle weight exceeding 7.5 tonnes with 2 axles. Large buses (with seating for 17 or more passengers) £10.90
5. Goods vehicles having a maximum gross vehicle weight exceeding 7.5 tonnes with 3 axles. £14.60
6. Goods vehicles having a maximum gross vehicle weight exceeding 7.5 tonnes with 4 or more axles. £18.30

Much simpler down there then, but it would end up costing the same up here if you were going both ways, unless you had a trailer or caravan, as the welsh don't charge for them....
