just noticed they are bringing one out for the nova at the end of may.

i've seen some of these type books in the beloved halfords so does anyone know if they are all about "performance" (ie stupid body kits and making your ears bleed) or actually about engine tuning, brakes, suspension etc?

last yr at mpl, i spoke to the guy on the haynes stand, i asked him if they was gonna release a nova book, he said no as the corsa and saxo had been done and that the nova was becoming old hat, i had a major benny and told him that novas were still about and we wanted a book, he said that they would give it some consideration!

corsa one is quite wank really. buying guide is alright, and points to look out for. Apart from that its a waste of money.

well the contents of mine are- stuff about insurance, styling- mesh grill dtm mirrors fuel caps etc, tinting windows - mmm bubbly tints, single wiper, bodykits, how 2 spray stuff, delocking, centrel locking,lights, wheels, lowering, interior mods, how 2 ire up a sub, etc etc, thats just browsing through some of the pages

i wonder if the nova ones got stuff like how to modify a nova wiper linkage to make a single wiper and "central locking for a fiver" from a volvo 340 gls :lol:

Very doubtful.
You would learn more from mickys guides or talking to peeps in the chatroom than that piece of shit.
Anything max power=dont do it folks...

knowing max power it will be arse.

haynes manuals r quite good tho IMO if u r doing routine stuff.

maybe the nova one would be better if the likes of TV, regal, courtenay, other vauxy specialist put it together! same goes for the corsa!

afaik max have nothing to do with it other than the name. it actually haynes themselves making the book.

ste not old news, just you were privileged to know before everyone else lol.

jealously gets you nowhere micky, maybe if youd done something other than stcking gsi kits on all your cars maybe theyd use yours :P
