Orange Nova

I kept seeing an orange GTE in a garage just over the road from my house and kept meaning to go over and have a chat. Me and Jimbob-McGrew finally got a chance to meet up with him and have a look at his motor. Looks quite tastey. Here's a pic for ya.

Fail, there were 5 Novas at Matt's when we had the BBQ (mine, yours, floydy's, Jim's and Dan's. Ok, Matt's too but that was hidden away lol) :p

And the orange one - not bad, but his bonnet appears to be bent

The bonnet is raised for styling purposes, not to my taste but its not my car so meh.

Not sure what the alloys are tbh pete. Its not on them anymore though. I think he is rocking cesaros atm. He was talking about getting some white, banded steelys yesterday.

Silver wheels look like they suit it better. Smoothed bumpers too.

Has potential (when the bonnet is put back on properly) though.

He has been a busy boy and got it running earlier on. I was kind of sad and happy at the same time, as i broke my XE nova because I couldn't afford to run it and he bought the engine. It's good to see its gone to a good home.

In my defence, it was either raise the bonnet or dremel a massive hole in it.

At least mine is raised because I can't shut it lol

Theres some decals on the cards apparantly, should break it up nicely or not, we will see. I'll get some pics. With regards to the alloys in silver. I saw them in silver, before they were sprayed and I think they look better in black, but each to there own. Loving the centre caps.

You already know my views on the bonnet, but he likes it and it certainly doesn't ruin it imo.

He plans to get online soon, so hopefully he will get a project thread up.
