x16xel altanator

hi i am fitting a x16xel out of a vectra and i am using the flat type pullys and belt. do i have to cut some of the altanator bracket to fit the engine in? and di i need to made a adjuster bracket? i am using a 6pk860 belt

You need to make a bracket.
Apparently you can make a nova 8v one fit.

Or make a fancy one out of rosejoints/threaded m8 rod

ok i have a 8v bracket here. does anyone have any pics of it done?

Im sure i remember someone saying they fitted the nova one but the other way round(so it bent the other way)
Ive not seen it done though.
