Outer CV Joints

Start to finish guide or how to get them off the shafts?

got to get them off the shafts mate and put thers on

I cant be bothered to go into detail - it will take an age.

Basically - remove the 30mm hub nut, undo the lower ball joint to get the outer CV out of the hub assy.

then you get oily! lol

Rip the boot back and expose the inner greasey death and try and locate the circlip that holds the CV on the shaft - then release!

There will be one - theres a recess in the cv with a pretty small circlip in it - until u wipe a load of the grease off you wont see it.

yeah its a right pain in the rear trying to find them in all that grease!lol
